About Me
My sole pupose is to help change perspectives of how people see the comunity (favela) that I live in. There are many myths and exagerrations in the news about favela comunities. I am passionate about my comunity.
I am the director of Favela Adventures a tourism, activity and volunteer geared website that offers oportunities for tourists to see real favela life in my comunity called Rocinha. In August we will be starting a division of Rocinha Media School. We will start the Dj school "Spin Rocinha" first. This program will be run by two dj's in the favela and classes for students will be free. Thanks to our sustainable tourism and visitors, these programs will exist.
