I maintain our team's website and blog. Our team's mission is to raise awareness of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and the work of the S. Texas ALS Associationn. To that end we race and ride our bikes.
I served in Virginia and Texas as a Supply Corps Officer onboard a CG cruiser and a helicopter squadron. The work was difficult, arbitrary and bureaucratic, but it was also exciting and personal. I think that Division Officer may very well be the best job in the Navy. Your responsibility is to know your people and be part of their lives. My shipmates forever changed my way of seeing the world.
