It is really a new fact for me about Trojans and I will definitely try to find more publications about her. Well, I have to admit that she is really a beautiful woman and personally I think that she is very similar like Alexis Texas! Look at her. Anyway thanks a lot for sharing these wonderful news! seo

Harriet May I really struggle with managing my time personal time. There are so many books I want to read, and personal projects I'd like to try, but I'm terrible for getting distracted by Google Reader and bad TV. How do you battle distractions and find the motivation to get things you know you should get done, done?

It's not just bad TV, there's too much good TV to watch that I decided not to own a set, so now I have to work harder and find things online or plan ahead by going to a friend's house for something special or a bar to see a game.

As for google reader or any other media, go with it, don't fight your natural inquiring mind however, you should hold yourself accountable for time spent by trying the following i) don't just consume information, contribute by writing something useful for others, even a small paragraph per week and see where it leads you ii) try to bring your thoughts together on a topic to create either a new business, service or product and after a week or two of surfing/playing tell your idea to at least one friend who you know will be constructively critical.

I applaud your candor and your commitment to improving your writing and the writing of others.

The additional piece of advice I offer is simple: proofread your text and then have someone else proofread it as well! Having read more of these essays than I care to admit, omitted words, misspellings that spell check will never catch (e.g., their and there; or to, two, too!), and sentences that do not make sense greatly detract from the main message of the essay.

Rebecca Thorman Just read an article about a woman who told a little white lie in salary negotiation. When she was offered a new job, she said she made $5,000 more at her old job than she actually did. The offered to match her salary, but she said, "I'd like to be making more," and so they came back and said they'd give her $5,000 more, so her new job is $10K more than her old one. $10K is an avg salary jump, but I love this tactic. Do you think it's okay though to say such a lie?

I guess there are varied opinions regarding this matter but in order not to get in trouble this article advised to simply say that you are not comfortable discussing your financial history. That is why you are "negotiating", you want what is financially sound to what you are taking in especially if it is something different from your current job.

TOP IDEA: Zack Zaban Quick question: what do you, as a student, want out of a social media network? I was thinking of this earlier this morning when I jumped on to Facebook. I HATE all of the "dootsy" Facebook applications that people put on their profiles, essentially cluttering them instead of providing valuable information. For me, a social media network should integrate functionality across the site instead of having profiles/pages feel like a bunch of unconnected widgets.

In my opinion, social networks should keep in touch people and help them to create a network of relationships that could be useful in a personal and professional way. It's really comfortable to have people that you've just met somewhere on FB instead of exchange numbers that probably you will never use. Unfortunately a lot of people use FB like a playground but maybe it's just a phase

I think it's the same for a social network or a blog or anything else you do in life - be yourself. Do what you feel comfortable doing.

I know I used to be addicted to the facebook applications, but I was missing the social part of network. I now do more with commenting and posting notes that are thought provoking.

You know that you can block other people's farmville and mafia updates from being shown in your feed, so you can get back to reading statuses and notes.

Nathan Lustig Wordpress bloggers: I'm working on a new post for my company, Entrustet.com, about what bloggers want to happen (if anything) when they pass away. I know its kinda morbid, but I'm looking to get opinions from bloggers to use in my post. So what do you want to happen to your blog when you pass away? Do you want it deleted? Left up for others to view? Transferred to another writer so they can keep your blog updated? Don't care since you're dead? Respond here and let me know!

If your heirs want to memorialize your profile, they can contact facebook and there is no good way to delete your profiles. I have a blog post on it on the entrustet blog here: http://bit.ly/coGinD. Twitter doesn't have a policy, so it just sits there.

Ryan Paugh OK. Let me know if anyone has thought of this yet. I came up with this Foursquare event idea with a couple friends yesterday. Wouldn't it be cool to do a Foursquare scavenger hunt? I imagine setting up teams of people and using Foursquare to guide them to different mystery locations around your city. Whichever team is able to check in at all of the mystery locations before the end of the day wins. I'm imagining kegs at each location, but that's just me! Thoughts?

Great article stanley.

I changed Major 3 times, Twice in one year, and once the year after. I did this in my first year of uni, One of the greatest choices i made. It is a waste of life to go into a major youre not passionate about, Or you think that it wont benefit you personally in the future. The weird thing is, now that i graduated and started working in my field, i realized that i want to change careers into something else. I have a B.Comm specializing in IT managemeent. B.comm is the best, ITM wasn't a good idea though.

I realized that the skills i Excel at, the ones i developped during my extra curricular activites in uni. are ones which have nothing to do with IT. so now i want to Utilize those skills and develop them.

Have you at any time decided to change fields "after" graduating from a related program?
