About Me

Education
Zack is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying strategic communications and reporting within the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. In addition to his studies at the SJMC, Zack is pursing a Certificate in Business from the Wisconsin School of Business.

Activities
In his spare time, Zack participates in various activities across the UW-Madison campus. Specifically, he is involved with Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPsi), the Underclassmen Outreach Committee, Advertising Club and Hillel at the University of Wisconsin.

Experience
Zack has played many different communication roles over the years. During his freshman year and sophomore, he interned for Hillel and provided outreach services geared toward incoming students through various mediums like Facebook and flyers.

Zack also worked as the Campus Outreach Intern and Event Marketing Intern at the Morgridge Center for Public Service. He provided leadership and insight for the Morgridge Center's marketing efforts, helping them expand their brand through activities like presentations, weekly newsletters, Twitter posts, posters and Web site updates.

During the summer of 2010, Zack worked as a Search Analyst Intern at SMG-Search, a division of Starcom MediaVest Group.

Extras
In his off time, Zack enjoys:

* playing ultimate frisbee
* reminiscing with his friends about summers spent at Herzl Camp
* cooking food that requires one main ingredient: cheese
