About Me

I'm now studying in University of Pennslyvania for master degree, major in TESOl.I used to be an English teacher and an English editor in a media group. In the future, I want to continue my career as an educator, working in a course/material development department in an institution or organization. I prefer to work in US to accumulate ESL teaching experience and then work in Asia, like Japan, Korea,China, since I found there are a lot more we can do to help leaners with English in those countries, plus, I know their languages, which may facilitate the teaching process, and figured out the difficulties they may encounter and find the solutions.

• ○Engaged in the design and implementation of business English. One of my customers, the Springer Media, 15 out of 20 learners passed the BEC intermediate test after 80 academic hours’ training.
  ○In kids and teenager school. After one year learning in our Small Star program, 78% of the students successfully have been enrolled by bilingual or key primary schools.
  ○For intensive class for primary school students, focusing on the grammar and vocabulary, 48 pit of 60 passed the Star Test level III (an English test for the entrance to key middle school).
  ○Take in charge of training new teachers
  ○Arrange running workshops once every week in our center since September 2011.
  ○Run the EF annual academic meeting (13 schools in all) in Shanghai In May, 2011. I helped to and presented a workshop focusing on how to improve young learners’ learning by activity-based class.
  ○Collect activities from different levels by observation, share it through all EF kids schools now.
