About Me

Yu Ming is an online entrepreneur from Singapore living in Tokyo. After graduating from the National University of Singapore with an English Literature degree, she started a colorful career in lifestyle magazine journalism where she penned articles from digital cameras to sex tips.

Six years later, she moved to the Land of the Rising Sun and took Japanese lessons for nine months (four hours a day; Mondays to Fridays). Not one to twiddle her thumbs, she dived into the whirlpool of teaching Japanese professionals conversational English in cafes for a year.

Towards the end of that stint, she wrapped her head around php script and kicked off several websites. She lives and breathes SEO and social media, while enjoying the challenges of being her own boss with a mobile business. Her most recent foray is into the world of blog shops where she has her own corner for selling beauty products.
