OE Web Design Gold Coast What javascript framework are you guys using at the moment... Iw as originally scriptaculous then moved to mootools and now loving JQuery... I have found JQuery to be the easiest to use and I can always find premade scripts online.

My hazy 3000 high ...MoreThough I'm with the rest of the boat, smack in the middle of it, it's hard to know what everyone considers the core of Web 2.0. My hazy 3000 high take is 2.0 was the maturity of open source web platforms, increased connection bandwidth, and the community of interactions they've afforded us. My guess (if it isn't already in play) is Web 3.0 will likely cross appliances and make the "web" break out of the confined browser portals we know today. Advertising firms are already combing TV (traditional) media and online media groups, and eventually content will likely be less medium specific and more global to common platforms. Less paying for HBO to see a serial programming schedule, more using whatever device you have to request assets from your HBO subscription (via game console, media pad, PC, TV, etc.). And all web backed. That at least 'feels' like the next stage.

The rest is in the air. So much moves back and forth - popularity of flash and rich media, followed by movement toward HTML5 - but probably if anything, Web 3.0 will deliver on many of the promises of Web 2.0.

If your goal is to use social media as a tool to reach your audience, and to interact with them, listen to them, and communicate WITH them, then you would want to use as many social media tools as your target audience does.

While my end goal is obviously to sell my product, I'm ultimately just selling myself first as everything online is about authenticity and trust.
