About Me
Yes - that's me at the table with Dan Rather. A wonderful man indeed.
I am a Chicago-native, currently working for the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Since earning my Masters from the George Washington University in 2006, I have worked mostly in the private sector, and moved to the public sector just last year. I have also been a very active advocate for minority and women's rights in the Middle East. In addition to my experience in research, communications, and project management, I have been tirelessly involved in human rights and capacity building in post-conflict areas.
I am transitioning to move into the field I have been so passionate about: human rights and NGO capacity building in post-conflict areas.
