Victoria Gutierrez is a 2007 graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned a B.S. with honors in the surprisingly complementary combination of Dance and Philosophy. A girl who never tired of leotards and pointe shoes, she embarked upon a professional modern dance career. Two knee injuries and one surgery later, she realized that it was time for a career that required real clothes.
An avid yoga practitioner, Victoria looks for an integrative, responsible, and enlightening embodiment of the world. She lives by the mantra: ‘Do well in life, but also do good.’ With such lofty goals, it is no surprise that she is having an interesting time finding her special place in the corporate world (but hopes that, as you read this, she has found a job).
Victoria’s blog chronicles her experiences in the job hunt as well as navigating the process of major change and growth that seems to be ubiquitous with one’s early twenties. Stay tuned, however, as she will be chronicling her adventures in her brand new home of San Francisco!
