Tom Guarriello For me, this list is the coolest thing yet on BC. Twitter makes it easy for us all to connect with one another not just here, but everywhere.

Robert Sofia I agree that an RSS feed would also be valuable. At the same time though, what harm would be caused by having your twitter url listed somewhere on the site. Wouldn't you like to have more like-minded followers?

Robert Sofia: This is just another reason why I love the BC community - Responsiveness! Great job!

Ryan Paugh Has anybody seen Avatar yet? I'm planning on going to see it over the Holidays. I'm hearing good things from all of the critics, but I want to hear what my Brazen peeps think!

I wasn't expecting a lot though, never really cared for James Cameron. But he didn't disappoint. Plot? Pretty thin. But in 3D? I had the time of my life. :)

Ryan Paugh: You guys were right! Totally amazing! Also excited to hear that Cameron is planning 2 sequels.

Rob Vanasco i like the 140 limit. it forces people to really think about what they are saying and be concise.

142 weeks ago from Brazen Community Feedback

Rob Vanasco: great idea Stephen. I second that. let the 140 characters be the teaser to the real conversation.
Ryan Paugh: That's a cool idea Stephen. I'll bring it up to the rest of the team and see if it's something we can roll out. Love the ideas. Don't stop!

Tom Guarriello Yes, I have tried them, Ryan, but it seems like they're a bit off the beaten path. I agree with Stephen: Forums need more accessibility.

142 weeks ago from Brazen Community Feedback

Ryan Paugh: I guess the best answer is to show forums some more love...I'll definitely bring that up. Thanks!
Mark W.: Additional spotlight to forums could be done with a "Recent Forum Activity" log with current "Recent Group Activity" log in right column.

Tom Guarriello I love Twitter's 140 limit. But I'm thinking the format is too limiting for BC kinds of interactions. Too much to say, not enough room.

142 weeks ago from Brazen Community Feedback

Mark W.: I think the 140 character limit for chatter should be strongly encouraged but up to 280 characters max allowed ...
Mark W.: and anything more than 280 characters should be a 'reply in forum' link per Stephen's idea above - 9/2, 2:25 PM .

Zezinho Can somebody tell me what "Brazen" means..sorry english is not my first language

142 weeks ago from Brazen Community Feedback

Zezinho: doesnt cocky mean somebody who is over confident?
Tom Guarriello: Perhaps "overly" but at least "obviously" or "blatantly."

GenerationXpert Suzanne Kart I'm curious how many actual Boomers are in this Boom Boom Room?

142 weeks ago from Blazing Boomers

Tom Guarriello: This is an excellent question. You left this comment in the Blazing Boomers group, not the Boom Boom Room but it's relevant just the same.

Yuppie Boomers gave the world Bill Strauss and Neil Howe. The authors of generations.

143 weeks ago from GenY/Boomer Boom Boom Room

Tom Guarriello: Their books really set the standard for generational studies.

Tom Guarriello So, let's see. Only way I can communicate on BC is through groups or through my blog? Can't just leave a twitter-like observation, right?

143 weeks ago from Brazen Community Feedback

Ryan Paugh: Not yet :) But stay tuned Tom!
Tom Guarriello: That's encouraging, Ryan. Feeling pretty fragmented right now.

Any fans of classic movies from the 1930's-1980's?

143 weeks ago from Movie Critics

Meenal Vamburkar: I love old movies! TCM's Summer Under the Stars in August kept me glued to the TV, haha.
Vanessa Alvarado: Naturally, that generation gap leaves too much room to list all the favorites. For classic musicals, "My Fair Lady" wins for witty dialog.

Carrie Clark I'm a Gen Y and really just loved the name of this group. Lol. Although I'm feel that I feel I can relate better to Boomers than GenX

143 weeks ago from GenY/Boomer Boom Boom Room

Tom Guarriello: Just came to me in an inspirational flash! Felt like the right tone for us here. I hear lots of X/Y comm problems. Not uncommon.
Barbara Healy: Carrie, that's probably because we have more in common when it comes to our values. Our values are developed during our adolesence..

Jim Taggart I like Rebecca's comments. My 3 youngest are 20, 25, 26. My oldest daughter (29) looks at her little sister like she's from another planet.

143 weeks ago from GenY/Boomer Boom Boom Room

Tom Guarriello: Seeing one another as hailing from different planets seems common. How do we overcome these reactions to focus on our similarities?

Rebecca Thorman I think Boomers & Gen Yers have a lot more in common than say, Gen Xers. For ex, my Boomer Mom and I get along more than my Gen X sisters.

143 weeks ago from GenY/Boomer Boom Boom Room

Tom Guarriello: @Rebecca, optimism, yes, thanks. @Joel, lol, don't confusion fatigue with apathy! I think some Boomer fires still burn hot!
: @Tom, good point, as JB said "in the end they traded their tired wings for the resignation that living brings" Fatigue more than apathy-yes
143 weeks ago

JR Moreau Someone should do a parody video of "Boom Boom Pow" and make it about Boomer/GenX/GenY generational issues from the Boomer perspective

143 weeks ago from GenY/Boomer Boom Boom Room

JR Moreau: "I be that Boomer Boomer pow, Millenials be jockin' my style." haha
143 weeks ago
Tom Guarriello: "Don't try to copy my swagger, I got that boom shit now." (uh oh)

Ryan Healy Hey guys, would love to hear your feedback on the new Brazen Careerist UX. Thoughts?

143 weeks ago from User Experience

Eugene Yee: "chatter" is limited to 140 char, but when I really wanna say something substantial, I'm forced to start a forum topic, which is hidden.
Jonathan Hung: sign up flow + profile creation is a barrier to participation. Too many fields. Social media entry should be effortless, ie Tumblr.
