Todd Owens has worked with Dewey & Kaye since 2000 and was named Principal in 2009. Dewey & Kaye’s Executive Recruitment and Transition Management practice works to manage executive transitions for foundations, nonprofits, and associations in OH, PA, and WV. Prior to his work in executive transition, Todd served Dewey & Kaye's clients through organizational development and strategy consulting. His clients include the Heinz Endowments, the Richard King Mellon Foundation, the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and the Alcoa Foundation. In 1999, Todd was awarded the prestigious Coro Center for Civic Leadership fellowship. Todd’s prior professional experiences include work as a tour manager in the music business and work in education and youth development at the Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester, NY. Todd has been recognized for his involvement and community leadership by being chosen as one of Pittsburgh's 40 Under 40 by PUMP and Pittsburgh Magazine. Todd received his Masters of Science degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Administration from Western Illinois University. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary and Special Education and with a minor in Psychology from Bethany College.
