I assist clients with their use of social media, emerging technologies, data security and other information technology policies as well as with outsourcing agreements, licensing, securities law compliance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate compliance. I have worked with a variety of clients including special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), technology services companies, governmental entities, and other public and private companies. I am also the head of social meadia for the Firm's Art+Law+Blog and contribute to the bankbryancave.com website.
As an Associate with the Firm's Technology, Entrepreneurial and Commercial Practice Group and Internet & New Media Team, I assist clients with the design of policies and approaches to emerging technologies, data security and brand protection. I also assist with general corporate matters including mergers & acquistions, securities filings, corporate governance and general corporate compliance. Internally, I also work with attorneys to develop personal branding strategies using social media.
As a Summer Associate with the Firm, I worked with attorneys on a variety of matters ranging from corporate law review to legal research to legal drafting for both corporate and litigation matters.
As a clerk with the District Attorney General of Nashville, Tennessee, through a grant program from the Vanderbilt Legal Aid Society, I conducted legal research and prepared background information for a variety of cases relating to child domestic violence and abuse.
As a Research Assistant with The Ohio State University's Agriculture Research and Development Center, I managed a study on the efficiency and effectiveness of various organic pesticides using tomato plants and conducted a small study on plant germination rates under stressed conditions, including presentations of the findings of these studies.
As a Plant Science and Communications Intern, I worked with the Epcot Science team to research and maintain various tropic plant species in a large hydroponic facility as part of the Living with the Land Boat Tour at Epcot's The Land pavilion. I also hosted walking tours for guests through the facility answering questions and demonstrating how the facility operated and how the techniques could be applied to modern agriculture worldwide.
