About Me

For the next year, I'll be working with the Interfaith Youth Core and Tony Blair Faith Foundation as a Faiths Act Fellow, an international, interfaith fellowship program that will work to build a grand multifaith coalition to fight malaria. My job is recruiting faith communities in the United States and connecting them to their counterparts in the developing world, especially Africa. We'll be creating metropolitan hubs of changemakers and raising awareness.

My long-term goals involve owning a lavender farm in Washington state, but for now I'm interested in continuing my work in the nonprofit sector. I'm impressed by the potential within my own generation (Y/Millennial) to affect change in the world, and I feel a deep kinship with social entrepreneurs working to empower young people.

I have spent a lot of time studying the ways in which religion can inform and motivate people to do good. It's important for me to do what I can to make good things happen.

I'm pretty swift on the internet and I can pump out content quickly and usefully. I'm still debating whether or not to rearrange this section into 3rd-person.
