About Me

Taylor is the co-founder of Tropophilia, a blog exploring the broad theme of "change." His writing covers a wide range of topics including: environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility, clean technology, online political strategy, philanthropy, and social media. He is particularly interested in the intersection of profit and purpose, particularly as it relates to environmental stewardship, community economic development, and the growth of communities. Taylor blogs more frequently on TaylorAnsley.com, a Tumblr-based blog dedicated to sharing interesting and funny gems from across the web.

Taylor worked for a large grant making foundation in North Carolina from 2007-2009, and then spent 7 months as an economic development analyst for Bexar County, TX. He currently works in account management, marketing, social media, and customer service for Sweb Development--a creative interactive agency specializing in mobile app, website, and 3D design and development. Taylor enjoys cooking a good meal, working in his vegetable garden, reading a great book, taking a long hike, and browsing insightful blogs.
