About Me

Tammy Robinson is a veteran of the digital media industry with more than 10 years experience. After a successful career with companies such as Penny Press/Dell Publishing, Verizon and Sega, Tammy has recently founded Odyssey Digital Media, a privately held, digital media consultancy, based in the Washington, DC area.

Odyssey Digital Media is a full service digital new media consultancy focused on providing their clients with expertise and development in leading-edge web 2.0 and mobile marketing and application development services. The company focuses on small to mid-size businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations.

Tammy lives in Baltimore with her husband and son. She has a passion for the Arts and Literature. She is a volunteer with the Radio Reading Network of Maryland, which is an independent non-profit organization serving persons who are either visually or physically impaired to the degree that they are unable to read for themselves.

  • In my original role, I spearheaded the strategic business planning, partnership development and account management and supervised the ongoing operational functions of Sega’s wireless content business unit for all of the Americas. Shortly after joining the team, my role shifted more to business development and contract negotiating activities in order to meet new organizational goals and revenue targets for the fiscal year.

  • Successfully directed all aspects of Verizon’s wireless content business unit (digital format of games, ringtones and applications for wireless devices), with revenue targets of more than half a billion dollars in fiscal year 2008, to include operational and personnel management, business planning and quarterly management reviews with senior executive team.
