Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. Below is a summary of my professional experience. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you are interested in learning more.
My name is Taft Love and I am a financial crime investigator in western NC. I will spare you the cliches (people person, hard worker, etc.) and get to the point: I am not a typical 20-something. Creative, aggressive and exceptionally well-disciplined - I am the go-to guy for the most important projects.
For the past six years, I have worked for the Lenoir Police Department in western North Carolina. During that time, I have excelled in several positions that require strong communication skills as well as the ability to operate effectively in a high-stress environment. I am the youngest supervisor, criminal investigator, and SWAT member at Lenoir PD.
I was awarded the Lenoir's 2009 Customer Service Excellence award as well as the 2010 Caldwell County Hero award. I earned a B/A in business and a M/A in Management while working full-time as a financial crime investigator. All the while, I have never taken a sick day and never lost a case. Simply put, I get the job done.
As a financial crime investigator, I am responsible for coordinating complex long and short-term investigations. I manage multiple cases simultaneously, many of which are multi-jurisdictional and require cooperation with other local, state, and federal agencies.
As master patrol officer, I was the senior patrolman on my duty shift and an informal leader. My duties included patrolling an assigned district, enforcing State and Federal laws, conducting short-term investigations, training new hires and occasionally supervising junior officers.
