Hello everyone,
I joined the "Laid off" club several months ago. I'll have to admit, I started to conduct career search, but got pleasantly distracted with planning for my two weddings in early October; a traditonal Vietnamese ceremony and an American one. My new hubby and I were very happy with how the celebrations turned out, but we realize that it's my time to focus on my career (and no more excuses for the wedding!) :)
I'm taking this opportunity to find a career where I find fulfillment. My background lies in marketing, and communications/public outreach, so I'd like to work for a company where I'm passionate about the cause or product. Some companies that I'd love to work for in the bay area include, Room to Read, LeapFrog, Kiva.org, or marketing agencies that are driven by cause.
Whether it be for profit or non-profit, I know I can perform my best when I believe in what I am doing and will thrive in a company that is growing and filled with people who are just as passionate about their roles.

o Support internal management team to develop contact strategy to meet acquisition and retention objectives for Microsoft’s small and midsize business audience
