About Me

I'm an unemployed high school English/language Arts teacher. While I love teaching, I'm open to new opportunities, especially in the nonprofit world. Blogging about career paths, taking classes in fundraising, and volunteering for 2 nonprofit organizations are the ways I'm acquiring new skills and enhancing existing ones. My dream job is starting a nonprofit organization that exposes under-served high school students to careers via internship, mentoring, and field trips. And, if I ever get to retire, I'll travel the world and interview people about their lives.
