Susan Forshner Frechette I recently wrote a blog post on blogger relations, from my perspective as a blogger and PR pro. Would love to hear your best practices for pitching bloggers. I hope to feature new tips in a future post (with credit of course)... http://bit.ly/f05Jd5

Elisabeth Ericson What are your favorite sources for staying up to date with news and trends in marketing and social media? I read Mashable, the New York Times and Wall Street Journal marketing and media sections, a few Twitter feeds, and the blogs of several agencies I'm interested in working for (I'm a college senior). What else should I be following?

I visited Costa Rica for the first time 7 months ago. It was a spur of the moment trip,
And I knew nothing about the country. When I landed I had no hotel reservation (I didn't
Even know the name of one) and everyone thought I was nuts!! It was the best trip of
My life!!! An absolute must is El Parke National in Manuel Antonio. I happened to find myself
inexpensive, wonderful and comfy acommadations at Tico Lodge- just steps from the National Park. They were the most friendly & helpful people ever! There was plenty to do including walking through the rain forest, relaxing on beautiful secluded beaches, playing with monkeys ( so fun!!) while taking a ton of pixx, rafting, canopy tours(absolute must!!) horseback riding, surfing, shopping and even nightlife all within walking distance from the lodge!! As a single girl
Taking her first trip alone in a new country I felt absolutely blessed! If you do decide to stay at
Tico Lodge tell them Jacqueline sent you! Congrats- you will absolutely love it! Ps- don't forget to stop at Montezuma and check out the hotsprings!!
