Welcome to Brazen Careerist!

Already thinking about next year (this semester has about a month left, but our travel for Speech and Debate has ended and next year's season is quickly coming up). This past year has felt completely chaotic and although nothing went horribly wrong and some things went really well, I would like next year to be calmer, more productive for all involved and less stressful. So, with all new TAs coming in and plenty of new team members on the horizon, I am approaching this as a "restructuring".

I am currently working on planning for Chico's third Great Debate. The day will entail students from Small Group Communication, Argumentation and Debate, and Public Speaking doing presentations and debates on immigration issues in California in the City Council building. The evening will conclude with a public debate on whether CA should increase restrictions on immigration or not and will include members of the Chico Speech and Debate team as well as community stakeholders.
