Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt trained by DuPont & Six Sigma Green Belt mentor. My work is focused in logistics network modeling, capacity planning and supply risk management as well as other business improvement initiatives in supply chain, marketing and sales.
I'm Six Sigma Black Belt trained by DuPont and currently working on my BB certification which I should get February 2013. I work as a project manager supporting sales, marketing and supply chain. I'm currently heavily involved in a distribution transformation project in addition to mentoring those working on green belt certification through Pioneer. When it comes to project management I'm a firm believer in McKinsey's "engagement" philosophy.
I provided support to soybean and corn acreage planning in North America. I was also leveraged in cross-function projects in logistics, soybean production improvement projects and other ad hoc responsibilities.
I was also participating in Pioneer's Emerging Leaders Program where I spent 25% of my time networking and learning with leaders in other areas of the Pioneer business and visiting/working at production locations across the midwest. I also co-developed the interface structure and process used in the program that enables those selected to participate to meet the program requirements and expand their knowledge of the business.
My work focused on a broad spectrum of projects including sales effectiveness, marketing and operations on the distribution side of the beauty industry.
By focusing on sales effectiveness with outside reps I was able to change our approach and turn around what was years of declining sales into positive growth and record sales. I implemented an online marketing strategy and placed more focus on our in-store product positioning to increase our profitability.
I also able to implement positive change operationally by decreasing our on-hand inventory by 50% without compromising sales and service. By leveraging demand forecasting for inventory. This on-demand strategy enabled the business to sustain these process changes and become more flexible by increasing their cashflow.
