Are you getting inquiries about Toyota's problems in the last weeks?
I'm the office Car Guy, so I've run into a lot. I have pointed out there isn't a car made today, from the humblest Korean import to the mightiest F1 racer, that won't slow down and stop if you stand on the brakes. But I'm not sure I am convincing many.

For the winter I fit a set of Bridgestone Blizzack snow tyres moubnted on steel rims and have never had any issues with the car. Rear wheel drive with no traction control in Wisconsin winters? No problem as long as you are prepared ahead of time. The Blizzacks are invaluable! 108 weeks ago
