Jake About near the end of my last 3rd quarter of school I started my blog on blogger. Blogger is great because of the independence you have on it. I strongly recommend this site over all (mainly because it's free :P). I am currently on my 51 blog post with many drafts and ideas to be posted.

The stats are more detailed - you get links to where each hit came from and can see what people searched Google for to arrive at your page (which is always very interesting!). I find the interface smoother, nicer to look at and easier to navigate. I get a lot of hits from AlphaInvetions too, which I didn't get on Blogger.

You'll want a cleaner, more personalized look in all likelyhood down the road, which will probably steer you towards other sites, but for now the most important thing is that you're blogging. Kudos for starting!

Steve You can't force inspiration. I started Blogspot blog because I wanted a blog, but struggled to know what to write. After some terrible posts, I gave up and deleted it. One day an email I wrote to my sister about a teacher who taught her kids what it feels like to be victims of prejudice looked like the start of a great blog post, so I signed up to Wordpress and put it there. A while later, another idea came to me. Now I relax and wait. Let ideas come to you, and they will once you stop trying.
