I've done it for a few of our other high-volume cities and you guys are next. This is a great way to connect w/ other local Brazen peeps, schedule meet ups and all sorts of other stuff. Leave your Twitter ID below as a reply and we will add you to the list.

Kristen Anyone know any serious bloggers? Speaking at a blogger's conference and want to chat with some people who blog for their business...or have a business off their blog. (@intuitinvoice)

Jenna Langer I'm going to attend the Mashable MashMeet San Francisco this Thursday, May 20th. It's a free open networking event after Google's I/O conference. Any Brazen Careerists want to meet up? I'm new to the SF social media scene and I'm ready to start attending some events! It would be great to meet others in the area. It should be fun! http://mashmeetsf.eventbrite.com/

TOP IDEA: Daniel Sunshine I'm starting a new media innovation and trends group and would like to invite Brazen members to get in touch if you are interested in playing a roll. The group will identify top online and tech trends and will collaborate to create blog posts on the subjects. This is a great way to focus on topics that interest you and feature your insights to a broader audience. I used to head National Geographic's Gen Y Trends Group and love analyzing the impact of innovation. Post a comment if interested.

Lindsey Donner Hi all! I have a question for you market whizzes about promoting online contests. I work for a great company called iGrad. (Beta website at http://myigrad.com ) We plan to run a big, fun video contest for recent college grads and students that will offer $ and exposure. But I really want to get people jazzed - and interested- now. Being new, the company is just now beginning to engage in branding via social media. What are some creative ways to promote a contest, other than the "usual" suspects?

Sarah I’m looking for a couple authoritative blog posts or other resources to share with a client about why we need to go with an online press release service for an upcoming product launch. Besides my asserting, an external resource (preferably with data!) is needed for this tough cookie. Does anyone have a recommendation please and thanks?

I would also Google (just blogs) for why's and how's to digital releases (cross referencing PRweb or one of their competators). The generic Google search picks up a lot of noise.

Treating social media as a discrete channel within your marketing strategy is a recipe for failure, imho. It touches most aspects of a marketers strategy and needs to be considered with them all. Re: the 4p's... it definitely can impact product and place and has a huge role in overhauling promotion. How it impacts price is a little less concrete. I hope that helps.
