Gen Y shares everything. We put it all out there. I'm seeing more Gen Xers gravitate towards LinkedIn more so then facebook. There on Facebook but there not using it to the extent Gen Y is. Xers will still pick email over sending a message on facebook. Gen Y - forget email. What are you seeing?

I think the biggest thing is to stop worrying about getting followers. Use Twitter to listen to what people are saying about topics you care about. Listen and then engage in the conversation. People will then check your stuff out. If put out good content, they'll follow. Don't worry about the number though..Just listen and engage.
