About Me

I graduated from Purdue University in August 2011. I am currently seeking full time employment in the Greater Chicago area. I am also interested in employment in Boston, MA.

In the long term, I'd like to be in consulting. I am still learning more about the different options I have within consulting but so far I am interested in Human Capital consulting. I am also interested in Venture Capital, Small Business Development, and entrepreneurship.

I definitely plan on getting an MBA. Currently I am interested in Chicago Booth School of Business, Kellogg School of Business (Northwestern), and Harvard Business School. When will I get this MBA? I hope within the next 4 - 8 years. But first, I need to get my career started.

As far as the short term, I am seeking full time employment in a position that will get me going in the right direction. I am very interested in Recruiting, Training/Development, and other roles such as Business Analyst positions, Recruiting Analyst, & Human Capital Analyst.

I am available immediately and will relocate for the right opportunity.

Responsible for the recruitment of temporary workers for the company's distribution center in Indianapolis. I conducted interviews, conducted training orientations, made hiring decisions, and other office duties such as filing documents.

I-9 compliance, training for OSHA guidelines, and comply with all state and federal employment laws.

I enjoy listening to a variety of music genres. My favorites are Rock, R&B, Blues, Jazz, and Classical. I enjoy mountain bike rides on nice weather days. I enjoy reading the Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, and other online news outlets. I blog on my spare time and I get involved in politics at times.

Goals

I want to make a dent in the universe.
I plan on publishing my own book. (sooner rather than later)
Be a Human Capital Consultant
Get an MBA from either Harvard, Kellogg (Northwestern), or Booth (Univ. of Chicago)
Way down the road... Become a Venture Capitalist. I want to help entrepreneurs get started.
