About Me

I have been in the helping professions for over a decade. I was offered a scholarship to study Psychology where a high academic record was maintained. After graduating I worked with long term unemployed clients and then moved into Management and HR where I got experience in corporate training & performance counselling. I then decided to specialise in face to face counselling so upgraded my qualifications by completing a Master in Counselling. For this I received the Valedictorian award and the Counselling achievement award. I am therefore very well qualified and experienced as an Individual, Couples and Family Therapist.

I am trained in a range of counselling methodologies and draw on my experience to tailor an approach that will meet the presenting needs of my clients.

At your first appointment I will work with you to set goals for counselling. I will also discuss the best therapeutic framework to ensure you feel comfortable with the direction of counselling.

With my warm empathic nature and non-judgemental approach, a space will be created for you to talk about things that are difficult to talk about.
