Michael Felberbaum I'm a big fan of Getting Things Done by David Allen (GTD) because he has a unique take on prioritization. I like how he de-emphasizes outdated thinking about A, B, C or 1, 2, 3 priority lists. Creating lists and numbering priorities never worked for me. Anyone else found interesting ways to solve the "prioritization" problem?

I ask myself, what goals that I have will this activity help achieve? If I don't like the answer I'll try to get out of it in some way or I'll delay for as long as possible.
Which brings me to another point. I find that 'normal' prioritizing would be way to complicated, because some things are more urgent then others because of various different reasons. I feel I need to be in control of what pops up at the top of my list, based on what reasons for priority I find important.

I'm reading it right now and he talks about splitting your daily tasks into different categories based on the type of thinking it takes to accomplish it & your peak energy times.

Meghan Skiff Lately I'm going crazy with multiple calendars, to-do lists, and email accounts. work. grad school. personal. To make it worse, I'm not the sort of person who is intrinsicly organized. Anyone have any tips on the best way to manage all of these separate items in one place?

Meghan, as far as new tools go, I've been doing some research, and found this on Toodledo: http://bit.ly/cqPAdf and this on Office Live: http://bit.ly/cHD984 . Haven't actually used either of them, but they look promising/worth looking into.

I had started a teuxdeux account a while ago and I'm not sure why I ever got away from it. I'm using google docs (I've been working out of the office quite a bit), google calendar, teuxdeux, and evernote. Rebecca, I think my system is pretty similar to yours...so far so good. Thanks to all of you :)
