About Me

Sarah Paré is a freelance writer and student from Madison, Wisconsin. She works and writes out of her cozy walk-in closet in a third-floor apartment located amidst the rolling green hills and heartland 15 miles outside her hometown.

Though she first put pen to paper as a very young girl, she began her formal freelancing career in November 2007, when she snagged a glamour-less gig as a reporter for her local small-town newspaper. More recently, she writes for Forté Madison, a Web destination linking the vibrant local community of young professionals to one another and the region.

The “work” closest to her heart, however, is her blog, The Almost Royal, which she began over four years ago and which still commands her attention several times per week. Though blogging is the most honest glimpse into Sarah’s life, you certainly should not visit if you are averse to profanity, whining, or laughing out loud.
