About Me

My name is Sara Chirvasuta and I am Head Business Support and Finance for the British Council office in Bucharest, Romania.

I worked for a few years as a management consultant bringing collaborative technologies to businesses in Romania and the region. Recently I defended my PhD thesis about the role of culture in the ways people learn informally.

I joined the British Council as Head Networks and Innovation, where I develop entrepreneurial activities within a 75 year old NGO. Over time, my role migrated towards Business Support and Finance. I enjoy the challenge of developing a large and very diverse team.

As a personal project, I am learning to savor and enjoy myself, and documenting my progress at www.HowtoSavor.com.
