About Me
I am a strategic communications professional with over 5 years of online, social media, messaging and outreach experience. I hold a BA in Government and International Relations, with a minor in Women’s Studies, and a MPA with a concentration in non-profit management.
In early April 2009 my life did a complete 180. I was your average fun loving, politically savvy, liberal activist type, who lived and worked in the Greater Boston area. I was living my life behind a desk at a government agency, while doing progressive and political work with several non-profit organizations in my free time. But, I really just wanted a change. And boy did I get one – I was chosen as a 2009-2010 Fulbright Grantee to Bulgaria and lived in Sofia, Bulgaria for one year. Here I conducted a strategic analysis of the relationship between NGOs and the Bulgarian Government to see how they could better cooperate to implement National and EU anti-human trafficking policies.
Since returning back to the U.S. I started “Smart As A Fox,” a strategic communications consulting firm specializing in social media, online advocacy, messaging and outreach strategy for non-profits, political campaigns, local government and small businesses.
