Samantha graduated from the University of Wisconsin in May 2008 with a major in Spanish and a minor in Chicano/a and Latino/a studies. In fall of 2008, Samantha moved to Boston to begin the Master of Arts program in Global Marketing Communications and Advertising at Emerson college.
Samantha is passionate about foreign languages, cultures, and traveling, and spent half of her junior year of college living abroad in Salamanca, Spain. While overseas, she kept a travel blog of her adventures. After graduating in May 2009, Samantha plans on expanding her love for Latino/a culture, the Spanish language, and marketing. Samantha has begun writing a new blog, The Kids Are Having Fun, and exploring social media.
When she's not studying at the Emerson library, Samantha enjoys playing tennis and reading in the Boston Common.
