Sam Davidson is a speaker, writer and dreamer who tells the stories that need telling in order to motivate others to change the things that need changing.
Having worked in both the corporate world and the nonprofit sector, he has seen the potential of individuals and companies to do the right thing when needed. To this end, he seeks to make companies and nonprofits better by developing strategies and ideas on how they can reach the next generation.
In 2006, he and Stephen Moseley began dreaming about CoolPeopleCare, Inc. and put that dream into reality shortly thereafter. Now, the site has visitors from around the world and helps thousands of nonprofits in the US get their message in front of a relevant audience.
Sam writes regularly on his personal blog and has been syndicated on such sites as EthicsDaily and YPCommons. His favorite topics include the potential of the next generation to change the world for the better. As a new dad, he also writes about the challenges and victories parenting brings. Overall, he's just trying to balance work, life, and family.
His first book, New Day Revolution: How to Save the World in 24 Hours was published in 2007 from Xyzzy Press. He followed that up with some smaller, self-published titles, including a primer on how nonprofits can better use social media.
He frequently travels and speaks on issues related to social entrepreneurship, the next generation, and saving the world.
Sam has been married to Lynnette for six years and the couple gave birth to Lindley in January.
