2GenY & Strauss Kahn : So Penelope Trunk's post http://bit.ly/ly52m9 got me thinking on two things - the victim's employers were damn good to have instilled faith in their employee that she could go to them and that they put up a fight for her even though they were up against a powerful man. 4Sometimes its the distance in relationships that make them work. a friend of mine who married her coworker continued to work at the same place as her husband. I noticed how she sounded /looked constantly tired &unhappy. She admitted that when she's at work she keeps thinking about the stuff to do at home, and when she's at home her mind is constantly buzzing with the office work. To me, it seems the underlying problem is that familiarity is breeding contempt & the guilt about it isnt helping.

5Stephen Covey & GenY: are the 7 effective habits applicable anymore? i read this tweet by @funnyonliners "twitter is not 1 of the 7 effective habits" and i thought well, why not? 7Shakespeare & Gen Y: instead of having a TO DO LIST , maybe its time we had a TO BE LIST. my theory is that if i cannot match each item on my to-do list with my to-be list , then something on each list is either redundant or missing. For example: To do list item: send cv to 2 recruiters...corresponds with....To be list item: to be part of a better work environment. To be or not to be that, indeed, is the question- Shakespeare its seems was a personal development guru of his time.

8My social media schedule: TWITTER - b/w 9am to 12pm i post stuff to reach out/get noticed by the US-based audience. From12pm to 6pm I make my quips abt my daily worklife which get posted on my facebook page. Also Catch-up with South-Asian RTs LINKED-IN i check thruout the day & keep updating by status, sometimes via Brazen careerist. BRAZEN-CAREERIST i check randomly throughout the day becoz there's not much activity on it since its night-time in US. From 6pm to 10pm i reply to Fb comments
