About Me

A creative, results-oriented public relations and marketing professional that has worked on campaigns with Fortune 500 companies, handled media relations for a presidential visit and garnered stories with the likes of NBC Nightly News and The New York Times.

I have extensive experience creating and implementing market specific campaigns that integrate traditional / new media marketing, advertising and special events to build brand awareness.

Liaised with key corporations such as GlaxoSmithKline, Home Depot, Sprint Nextel, Coke, Wal Mart, Fuji, NASCAR and Time Warner, supporting their internal and external marketing efforts.

I was previously an on-air personality (Went by the name “JJ McCain”) at 107.5 KZL, a Top 40 radio station in Greensboro, NC. I achieved this position at the age of 20 making me one of the youngest full-time radio hosts in the top 50 markets.

I'm a fan of getting involved in the community I live in and was a candidate for the 2009 Greensboro City Council At-Large race making me one of the youngest candidates to ever run for office in the city.
