About Me

Hi There!

I'm Ryan. I just moved to Madison, Wisconsin in August of 2009 from the Minneapolis area of Minnesota. My background involves an internship at the City of Edina, which is best known for being the first city in the United States to build an indoor mall (Southdale). Now, it is known for being home to the newest Viking, Brett Favre.

I also interned at General Mills in their Corporate Communications department where my focus was PR. Not only can I explain Mark-to-Market but I can bake a mean pan of Cookie Brownie Bars from Betty Crocker. A common thread between the two internships is that I introduced social media in a way that has forever changed the way the City of Edina and General Mills think about communication.

I also write as a volunteer for the online gaming enthusiast website Kombo.com where I have published over 200 reviews with hundreds . It's a hobby of mine and keeps me putting pen to paper (or is it fingers to keyboard now?) nearly everyday. Over the years, I've done a little of this, a little of that, but Marketing Communications is where I excel.
