Ryan Easttum What say we all collaborate and come up with an image for this group? Maybe it's time to ditch the Brazen generic image?

Thao Le: I agree! We need our own identity not Facebook's! At least change the color scheme?!

I just joined Brazen Careerist and I want to reply to things, but they're like a year old! I want to say, yes, wicked problems - I tweeted my fondness for this sort of thing a while back - http://bit.ly/c2aFiK And I want to say, yes let's collaborate and come up with an image for the group - maybe this is a chance for me to use my newly developing design skills. But I'm wondering if anyone is really out there? I know problem solving is hard, but don't give up!

Bryon Ownby Hi all, curious to know if anyone has gone through (or has known someone to go through) Georgia State Univ specialized Master of Science program (emphasis in organizational change). It's been a tough decision, but I feel the next step in my career to be school instead of another job. I'm looking for Master programs in the learning and development field that will aid me to teach/facilitate organizational change and leadership development in the business world (domestic and international).

Paul Torrance taught at Georgia State, one of my professors (from the above studies in Buffalo) learned under Torrance and is a leader in the TIM model and educational reform. Anyhow, I digress, check out: http://www.buffalostate.edu/creativity/
This is where I earned my Master's and they train you in facilitation, as you describe... There's plenty of similar programs and trainings, feel free to ask...

Barbara Bowen Hi Ryan, Many have influenced my approach over the years, but yes, Robert Fritz is definitely one.

142 weeks ago from Ask A Coach

Ryan Easttum: Who are your other influences? I've used Fritz's model with org's for visionizing & goal planning, but had to tweak it for best results.

Ryan Easttum Advice: GF is going to a networking social/light eats&drinks. Right after work(5pm), a senator is speaking, healthcare field, what to wear?

142 weeks ago from Dress Code Personal Style

Stephen Evermore When circumstances allow, I introduce discussion mapping into business meetings. I'd be interested in discussing wicked problems.

Ryan Easttum: Is that a take on Mind Mapping? Do you do it individually, small groups, large groups? I'd love to hear more about it.

Caitlin Fitzsimmons How do you tune out distractions (eg. internet)? I find I can't be creative when I'm multitasking. I have to focus deeply on what I'm doing.

142 weeks ago from Creatively Inspired

Vanessa Alvarado: I can't be creative UNLESS I'm multitasking. I'm more PRODUCTIVE when I focus. When I absolutely can't focus, I listening to music helps.

Barbara Bowen I advise clients to clarify tension between desired goals and present conditions based in reality. Combine passion and *sensible risk.

Ryan Easttum I did PR for a tiny theatre w/a tiny budget. My best success were activities that shocked people's realities. What's hot in the field now?

142 weeks ago from Arts Marketing

Ryan Easttum: I did mostly low-tech activities. I got great results, but would've loved using social media & media in general. Anything new/hot there?

Ryan Easttum Ideas y'all: I'm all about biz casual, my GF is old school and says do it to the nines. I'd rather wear a great shirt, no tie. Any thoughts?

143 weeks ago from Dress Code Personal Style

Leigh K.: i think you can definitely do no tie as long as your shirt fits you well (not too baggy or tight) and has some color to it.
Ryan Easttum: thanks for the advice. I love sharp shirt, no tie. Vanessa: the concept of dresscode differing by region is something I haven't thought of.
