I actually don't like Thesis - you can always tell when someone has used the theme, and I don't think it's as nice as many of the others. Just my POV. 122 weeks ago

Stephen - I am somewhat new to Boston, so I do not know much about the political scene here. I did get myself started yesterday and will have to check your blog out for ideas. Thanks for the advice!
Yifei - I interviewed at HubSpot! They are one reason I am starting a blog. Good luck with your effort - it looks great so far. Thanks for your wise words!

You said you are somewhat new to Boston, you could write about new areas you discover and like to spend time at, compare Boston to where you prevously lived, or just general observations about the world around you. While this might not seem ideal, I think it would be an interesting read and it might come easy to ou as I am sure you have formed some opinions about your newer surroundings. Where did you migrate from? 123 weeks ago

Teaching people something always helps. I'm a sales rep at HubSpot, but passionate about inbound marketing and sports. Hey - has anyone here used or heard any stories about Headway Themes (http://headwaythemes.com/) for their Wordpress blog? I'm pretty non-technical so it seems like a no-brainer to pay a little bit for WYSIWYG customization but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with the product?
Thanks,
Andrew

If you have any design chops you can make a very powerful site with it. My plan is to learn web development, then switch back to Headway when I have better design skills. The flexibility to create the layout you want is unmatched. For me personally, I just don't want to lose early visitors due to a bland design. 123 weeks ago

Hello everyone! Happy New Year! I just want to share my newly launch blog and perhaps solicit an advice from here. I am aiming to drive more traffic to my blog and of course to increase my PR to 4 within 3 months. I'm not sure though if that's possible. Any suggestion? I appreciate if you can take a look at my baby blog at http://www.learnhow2earn.net/ and any kind is welcome. Thanks!

I would recommend interacting w/ other "learnhow2earn" type blogs, writing guest posts for them and doing your best to get quality inbound links. Links are the key for high google PR. http://www.howtomakemyblog.com/seo/how-i-got-my-blog-from-google-pageran... Good luck! -Ryan 124 weeks ago

Of course, you potentially lose SEO with dofollow and you could also potentially lose commenters with nofollow. However, I think nofollow is the best choice. I mean hey, if I can leave a comment with my name that links back to my blog, that's pretty dang awesome. I've had a great deal of people visit my blogs because of that alone. In the end, commenting should be for community building, and not for plugging a person's blog. It's your blog, your house, and your community.

Is there any downside to having comments dofollow vs nofollow? Won't dofollow promote more interest and interaction with my blog?
