Russell Allert Hi All. Just wondering what people's thoughts are regarding Google+ and how it will impact on their brand/business? Especially in areas like SEO and future incorporation with other Google products.

Russell Allert Okay, I need some other points of view on this one. I had a discussion with my GF last night over the purchasing of pre-loved (that is, secondhand) clothing. She believes it to be overly cheap and a tad "yucky" where as I believe it is simply being economical and is good for the environment (as it re-uses resources). All I was after was some casual pants I can wear around the house. Any thoughts on this? Is shopping for pre-loved clothing a good or bad thing?

For me, I love thrift stores because I feel like I'm generating less for the waste stream, and I'm saving myself a ton of money on what most of the time is still perfectly great clothing.

TOP IDEA: Kenji Crosland After a month of testing, goldhat2.0 has been launched! Now anyone (even folks without a login) can submit content to the site that users can make donations to. In order for content creators to claim their donations they just have to verify that they are the owner of their website. Hoping to get some support from the brazen community to submit great content to the site (It can be yours if you want!). I'll be making some donations to the stuff I like: http://www.goldhat.org/hatlinks/new

TOP IDEA: Stephen Alred Hey guys, I operate a financial planning/consulting firm that's geared toward entrepreneurs and students. We recently decided to do something relatively different than our peers, and open up our Skype handle so that anyone can pop-in and ask random financial or investment questions. While we still charge a small fee for complex (multi-step) questions....simple questions, such as: "what do you think about investing in commodities?", are very welcome. Our Skype handle is: C9Consulting.

I know my blog hasn't been updated in a while. I'm working on other things/living real life at the moment and plan to post this week actually.

The author of the theme hasn't responded to similar requests and the theme itself is meant to be more of a starting block for developing ones own theme.

There are plenty of other free themes out there that would solve your problem and still look very presentable. If you decide to go this route, this list might give you a head start:

Robin Mills In the past, I have utilized a "brag book" of sorts while on internal and external interviews - it's a collection of complimentary e-mails, certificates/awards that I have achieved, examples of work cited on my resume, as well as excerpts of performance reviews. Sarah Matz One thing I would have liked to know sooner was the difference between 'good' and 'bad' debt. I had a goal to get my student loans all paid off as well as CC debt but really CC debt comes in a lot more needfully to pay down. Student loans get partially recredited to you when paying taxes!

Hey Ashley,

When you get to NYC let me know, and we'll meet up for coffee.

So far, so good. Good choice of topic for the first post: who is your target audience / ideal reader? If it's Gen Y you might be better to focus on how to overcome said stereotypes; if it's for Boomers then tell them why they should ignore said stereotypes and give us gen y=-ers a chance.

Other than that, I agree that pictures would help, and remember that online paragraphs need to be kept short as do overall posts

By "Hub" I mean a central site that allows people to not only find you, but find out what you are doing. It's not really a resume in the traditional sense, but it crosses over into that. Some great examples are: www.dannychoo.com and www.paulstamatiou.com - both of these websites, while focusing on various topics give a reader an immediate sense of who they are and what they are experts at/passionate about. www.alexking.org is another, albeit different, example. Hope that helps!
