It partially comes down to industry, grad school is almost necessity in some. For instance, if you're a teacher, having your masters is about the only way to advance your pay scale. But, in most industries, real world experience is just as valuable (and arguably more so) than grad school. So, for people in those careers, it comes down to personal preference. Davis says he'd feel more comfortable facing "walls" w/grad school under his belt. I'm not that way. I'd rather confront IRL.
