I got my degree in English into Spanish Translation at Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación, Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 1998.
I am passionate for the art and craft of translating.
In 2006, I joined ProZ.com as part of the community staff. I feel privileged to be part of the team and to have the opportunity of working for the largest community of professional translators in the world.
I have joined ProZ.com's Spanish localization team and I am thrilled with the experience so far. The areas of ProZ.com site I have localized into Spanish include
End-of-year membership campaign 2009 and the The Certified PRO platform.
I love challenges and working with people. Having had the possibility to combine translation with community services and support has been a dream come true.
Some of the tasks I performed in this role include: the localization into Spanish of several sections of the site, the organization of the translation contests held during 2008 (including the First Annual Translation Contest), the oversight of language related quick polls (selection, edition and running http://www.proz.com/polls ), the organization and oversight of the Translator's Day online celebration (2007 and 2008, http://www.proz.com/?sp=event/powwow_board&show_mode=translator_day and http://www.proz.com/?sp=event/powwow_itd ) and more...
