1Keep learning, the world is not going to stop and let you catch up. And take time to develop relationships that are based less on getting to some goal and more on the fact that you like the people. Seek out the groups of people who do the kinds of things that pique your interest. I've always liked making things (big surprise that I studied engineering?), been checking out the Fab Lab movement, and recently stumbled onto a hackerspace in my local area. Looking forward to meeting these people.
