Ryan Paugh During my first couple weeks of doing the Location-Independent thing I've found that taking mini breaks really helps keep me focused. 10-minute breaks to take out the garbage, wash some dishes or throw in a load of laundry really helps me clear my mind. Any of you guys take mini breaks to keep yourself sane while working from home?

Jamie Nacht Farrell: Thanks! If only I was disciplined enough to always stick to it ( ; Maybe I could make that a 'goal' as well!

When I used to work in the office I took 5+ coffee breaks and spent a good 15 bones a day at the local cafe. At least I'm saving some dough!

Leslie, it's times like this that make me miss my lab (http://bit.ly/8fsTm1). Unfortunately, I had to find him a new home when my office hours become too insane. Bummer :(

Ryan Paugh What are you guys watching on TV now that LOST is over? I've been watching a lot of Reality TV actually. My new guilty pleasure is Billy The Exterminator. No joke. I love this show. I think it's because he loves his job so much and I love seeing that. What's your guilty pleasure?

Ryan Stephens: For those who enjoyed LOST I can recommend: Dexter, Mad Men, The Wire, Friday Night Lights, and to a lesser extent Fringe and Justified.

Ryan Paugh Anyone else having a hard time working and watching the World Cup instead? Which team are you picking to win it all? I have Brazil for one of my brackets and Germany in the other (my wild card bracket). Interested in hearing who you guys are picking ...

My sister in law was so mad at me for making that choice, she is from Brazil and she hates Argentina with a passion.
My entire family is actually doing a bet with each other. We all got our own brackets and chose the winners of Groups A-H (I can't remember how many groups there are) and then we worked our ways to the finals. Who ever got the most correct matches at the end wins a total of 8 dollars! Sad and small winners pot I know, maybe it's better that I only bet a dollar, I probably won't win.

Rebekah Wortman Ok so I bawled my eyes out and LOVED the character focus, but am still absolutely unclear on so many questions. I wish they could have balanced the characters with some answers :)

I for one felt that there were plenty enough of answers, and still a lot of ambiguity left for interpretation. Of special interest to me is that the "burden" was effectively passed to Hurley and a Second (Benjamin Linus). That one happenstance says to me that we still could expect a pairing similar to Jacob and the Man in Black. (Can Benjamin ever be a wholly positive force?)

I also parse carefully the query by Eloise Hawking to Desmond Hume, whether he had to take everyone. Is there indeed a great distinction between those who are left "in the world" and who are brought to the church? My reading says no, that those in the church are brought there to an eternal moment of now so that they are part of Jack's moment of eternity. I read further that not all the people brought to Jack's gathering had died at the same time as Jack, but that Jack is experiencing a moment that is eternity, and that all others can experience their own moment of eternity that allows them all to share the same experience.

(I hope this makes sense to others, perhaps I need to rewrite for clarity, and to edit more as I write.)

TOP IDEA: Rebekah Wortman 16 days until vacation - making it hard to focus! I really just want to quit working for the day and watch Glee :)

Karla Mercado I still don't how how it's possible to only have 5 episodes left. They haven't answered any of my crucial questions and the LOST domain of my brain is still mush. Argh. I'm glad Daniel "Widmore" is back though :-)

I heard today that Carlton Cuse & Damon Lindeloff is producing a clip show for after the season finale so they can explain everything. So I don't think our answers are as clear as we usually find on television shows or movies (see "Sixth Sense").

Ryan Paugh We were all waiting for it. Last night we got it. What did everybody think about the Richard-centric LOST episode? I was happy w/ his back story, but thought we might get more info on the origins on Jacob & MIB, which we really didn't. Thoughts?

I don't think the heaven/hell thing works with the rest of the series though - how would the Dharma Initiative find a way to experiment in hell? I am still pretty lost, but happy to focus on someone other than Kate or Locke.

Steve, Smith+Fritzy -- I understood that Jacob was the cork keeping MIB from spilling out into the real world.

Richard's story seems to be a way of injecting the Jacob/MIB battle into the series just before the end of the series. The writers seem to be building up to the big finale with small pieces in each of the shows so far.

Jana -- with Widmore on the island, Desmond and Penny shouldn't be far behind.
