William Bryan Man I had an awesome post to write yesterday. I thought about it yesterday when I was with my friends at a bar/lounge and then when I came home, nothing I totally forgot what I was going to write about. Has this happened to you? What do you do when you have an idea to blog about and you are not near a computer? It really made me angry and I don't want it to happen again. thanks in advance.

Luckily though, we have made advancements in the technological world and don't have to have anything more than our Smartphones. In my phone, I have a notes section where I jot down all kinds of things when I don't have paper nearby (sometimes even my grocery list). If you don't have a smartphone you could always just text yourself the idea before it gets away.

Ryan Paugh I'm probably the wrong person to lead this discussion but I'm intrigued after reading a post today about Mommy Bloggers (http://bit.ly/c4qSd5). This blogger seems to think that women who label themselves as Mommy Bloggers don't deserve respect and that they're taking women down a peg. Do you think that's true?

Yes, I did write the post - and I apologize if the title offended anyone - Given a small space and the short attention spans of most readers, I try to make my post titles tongue-in-cheek - a little amusing, and interesting enough to inspire you/another reader to keep reading.

The point I wanted to make - and I think many of you got it - is that if you want to write for other Mommy Bloggers about your kids then go for it, call yourself a Mommy Blogger. However, there are a great deal of self-identified Mommy Bloggers who regularly and loudly bemoan their lack of non-Mommy readership AND that they are not taken seriously by other writers/readers outside their niche, as well as that the rest of the world expects that they write solely about their children.

If you want to project a different image than the one your brand currently projects, then it's time to come up with a new brand - in this case, call yourself something other than Mommy Blogger if you want the interest and respect of those not interested in reading about your two-year-old's diet.

Hope that clarifies :-) Love the discussion!

Since I work freelance, and there's always work to be finished, I used to work 12 hours a day. However, I quickly burned out. It's just that I'm the more more extroverted and social so it comes a little more naturally for me. But he pulls his weight more in the domestic department (i.e. cleaning, etc.). I think each of us need to work to our strengths and there's no such thing as an 'equal' split in marriage anyway.

I needed other working moms to tell me to wait as this is what my schedule currently looks like:
5:30 a.m. Getting ready for work...still nursing the baby
7 a.m Leave for work (start at 7:45) Husband drops kids off at sitter.
3:45 leave work and pick up the kids by 4:45 ( I use VAC time daily)
5 p.m. Playing, laundry, cooking dinner, etc
9:30 or 10 In bed so I can do it all over again
