Well, I recently resigned from my position writing test preparation materials to get involved with a new startup, Kikini. It's crazy, fascinating, overwhelming, and rewarding. I'm stepping into a role overseeing the marketing for the first time. Very interested in non-traditional and social forms of marketing and branding.
I teach LSAT, GMAT, GRE Math, and SAT preparation courses (mostly LSAT). My class sizes have ranged from 3 to 300. In order to teach, I had to score in the 99th percentile on officially administered LSAT, GMAT, GRE Math, and SAT tests.
My job is basically to oversee the marketing for Kikini, a new social matchmaking site that is launching in spring 2010.
Designed and implemented the TestMasters SAT Course, a 60-hour comprehensive classroom course.
Developed marketing strategy and corresponding products and seminars to promote the TestMasters SAT Course to a target market of approximately 1.5 million high school students.
Managed product development team that organized, edited, and produced a new edition of the TestMasters LSAT Course, which is distributed and taught to over 10,000 students each year. Managed product development team that created the TestMasters GRE Course. Coordinated academic updates to the TestMasters GMAT and GRE courses.
Trained over 500 LSAT, GMAT, GRE, and SAT instructors in academic coursework and on ways to improve teaching and public speaking skills.
Math, English, and Test Preparation for ACT, SAT, and PSAT.
Organized reading comprehension and math workbooks for test preparation program.
Created history and math programs for individual students in grades 7-8.
My favorite thing I did during college was to get involved in student gov't. I spent a year in charge of student activities and met so many cool being doing interesting things on campus.
