Amber, you bring up a good point about being certain about a particular thing. I think what the quote is trying to say (and I could be wrong) is that you need to be certain of the big things -- like yourself and the people in your life -- and so it makes sense that you were unhappy because of your ex-fiance's actions. If you had been certain of him/her, you would have been happy in that relationship. Just a thought!
