Jason H. Parker There's a ton of great third-party twitter tools/clients. I'm wondering what tools work best for monitoring twitter chats or #hashtags. Is there a tool that would aggregate all #hashtag tweets in a given period of time that would also let me download or export the tweets? Or how about a tool that allows me to subdivide and organize tweets by user rather than by its timestamp?

Dave Ellis: I use TweetDeck for that purpose.

A lot of people also use TweetChat, but I have yet to be in a twitter chat where the conversation doesn't ...MoreI use TweetDeck for that purpose.

A lot of people also use TweetChat, but I have yet to be in a twitter chat where the conversation doesn't divert into side discussions of "Is Tweetchat slow for anyone else?" "Is tweetchat not working?" (they never learn...)

Tweetdeck may be along the lines of what you're looking for and it seems to be quite reliable.
