At the time when I was a LiveJournal user, I didn't even realize that it was considered blogging but I wrote about plenty of useless topics!

Karolyn Chowning How do you organize the meta-writing for your novel? That is, in addition to one or more files containing the actual prose, what other details are you capturing and how are you storing and filing them?

Oke Atatah: I use storymill for the mac. It takes care of most of my novel needs. For other writing I use mac journal.

Try this technique: Think of the beginning and end. Once you have that down go ahead and start it. It is a weird process, but that is how I started. Each day I was winging it and sometimes I will have a series of knowing what I was going to write. But just having those 2 parts figure out helps you to formulate where you want the story to go.
