About Me

I'm trying to figure out how to live properly, in the real world with real problems, while trying to fulfill idealistic dreams carried over from college. It's definitely a balancing act, and sometimes I just want to flip over the table and say, "screw corporate" and go do something totally random and irresponsible.

I think I'm going through the quarter life crisis, because sometimes I think I have accomplished nothing meaningful in the 24 odd years of being alive, aside from following the footsteps of this rigid education. Well, I want to experience more. I want to stop reading and absorbing knowledge, and just learn from failures and triumphs of my own making.

I love Penelope Trunk, because she is so vulnerable and talented; so real. She understands, and that's a heck a lot more than 85% of the corporate population. She is the reason why I'm joining this website. Oh and I don't always agree with her views.

Interests

I like to express my creativity in a variety of channels - I like to cook and eat, I want to be a chef some day. I play my violin on any sad and rainy day. I enjoy a red wine with medium rare steak. I am fascinated by the web and will one day create a website about identities - and how to deal with them in an effective way. I love the Middle East, I think I might just live there one day. I miss my childhood. I love therapy, it's good for everyone.

Specialties

I am currently a management consultant. I have been and will always be a social justice advocate. I want to one day devote myself to nonprofit strategy work. My dream job is to become a foreign correspondent, or a journalist in war zones. Art + music keeps me alive.
