I tend to think that while an MBA can be useful it's the real-world application of social media that's going to make a marketer good or bad. Experience is what counts most and it's difficult to learn that kind of stuff from a text book.

What's the best piece of advice you'd give a 16- or 17-year-old who wants a summer job in a small entrepreneurial company? And what's the biggest mistake a teen can make in seeking a job?

Also, make sure they check all their privacy settings on Facebook/Myspace so inquiring HR staff can't see it.
